The Jarvis Collegiate Alumni Society is the Jarvis Collegiate Alumni Association, lovingly known as JCAA.
JCAA was formed in the late Seventies to originally put together Jarvis Collegiate Institute’s 175th Anniversary celebrations. Charles Carr (“Chuck”) is the founding member of this Association and put together a Constitution which drives JCAA.
As time passed, JCAA became dormant; however, earlier this decade, JCAA was resurrected for Jarvis C. I.’s Bicentennial Celebrations in May 2007.
The newly resurrected JCAA shall continue the vision first created by Chuck by providing for its members and by giving back to our School.
By embracing JCAA’s Constitution, we have started a golf tournament three years ago; we have resurrected Minerva’s Diary, a community newsletter for its members; we are funding-raising to save the school pool to serve the current student body and to service its members; and, don’t forget that each one of us have a say by attending the Annual General Meeting.
