How do I get involved as a volunteer?
The Alumni Society has many opportunities for volunteers. You could be voted into a position on the Board of Directors at an AGM or become involved in one of the following operating committees:
Membership /
Alumni Relations / Technology: Facilitate the registration process,
respond to phone/mail/email inquiries, define and expand membership
benefits, and create and maintain applicable technology, including the
website and databases. The Board of Directors may assign a volunteer
and/or third party personnel to manage the on-going maintenance of the
alumni database, communications and public relations personnel.
Fundraising: Administer current alumni fundraising programs
and expand fundraising efforts as appropriate.
Progamming: Establish and oversee programs that connect
alumni with current students and staff, oversee volunteer coordination
efforts of alumni reunion events.
In addition, once events are planned and communicated, additional
help is usually needed to run the event. Volunteers keep the Alumni
Society going. If you are interested in getting involved simply contact
